PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The embezzlement trial of the founder of an international sport institute has been put on hold after he was hospitalized for an undisclosed reason.Court spokesman Craig Berke (BER-kee) says the judge excused the jurors for the day Monday after being told Dan Doyle was hospitalized.Doyle is the founder of the Rhode Island-based Institute for International Sport. He faces 18 counts, including embezzlement and forgery.The trial is scheduled to continue Tuesday.
