The Gus Bus might be first to hit the road. This was supposed to be the year Gus Bradley turned the Jacksonville Jaguars into a contender. After going 12-36 in his first three seasons, Bradley got a one-year contract extension through 2017. That came with heightened expectations. After all, the Jaguars spent more than $350 million (nearly $150 million guaranteed) in free agency the last two years to sign 10 starters. They assembled a roster of talented young players. All signs pointed toward a major step forward. Instead, the Jaguars are 2-6 and headed nowhere in the weak AFC South. There have been at least six coaching changes in the NFL in each of the past six offseasons. Bradley could be the first to go this season, and theres no guarantee he makes it through the second half. Here are other coaches on the hot seat:REX RYAN: The Bills havent made the playoffs since 1999, the longest drought in the NFL. Ryan vowed to end that streak when he took over last season. He failed in his first try, going 8-8. Ryan fired offensive coordinator Greg Roman after a 0-2 start this season, but he could be in trouble if Buffalo (4-5) has a losing season.CHIP KELLY: The 49ers have lost seven in a row since opening the season with a shutout win over the Rams. Kelly has three years left on his contract and the 49ers fired Jim Tomsula one season into a four-year deal after 2015, so its unlikely they would do it again. But if Kelly wants to return to college football, hell get a comfortable push out the door.JEFF FISHER: The Rams had four straight losing seasons under Fisher in St. Louis and theyre headed toward another one in their first season back in Los Angeles. If the Rams (3-6) dont turn things around in the second half, Fisher may not stick around to see the Jared Goff era.MIKE MCCARTHY: The Packers have reached the playoffs eight times in McCarthys 10 seasons and seven years in a row. But theyve had disappointing playoff losses since winning the 2011 Super Bowl and are 4-4 this season. Unless Aaron Rodgers gets them back on track, McCarthys time in Green Bay could be up.CHUCK PAGANO: The Colts (4-5) beat the Packers on the road to get back in the race in the AFC South. Pagano led the Colts to three straight 11-win seasons, but he was in trouble last year after going 8-8 with Andrew Luck missing a chunk of games. He signed a four-year contract extension in January, so that gives him some security. But Pagano may have to win a playoff game to stick around in Indianapolis.MARVIN LEWIS: The Bengals have reached the playoffs seven times in 13 seasons under Lewis, including the last five years. Theyre 0-7 in those games. At 3-4-1, Cincinnatis postseason run is in jeopardy. That could lead to the first coaching change since 2003.JOHN FOX: The Bears are 2-6 after going 6-10 in Foxs first season. Fox led the Panthers and Broncos to big jumps in his second year, but thats not happening in Chicago. He might not get a third season.JIM CALDWELL: The Lions are 5-4 after rallying for an impressive win at Minnesota. They won 11 games and reached the playoffs in Caldwells first season, but they started 1-7 in 2015 and needed a 6-2 finish to preserve his job. A collapse down the stretch could lead to Caldwells departure.TODD BOWLES: The Jets are 3-6 and reeling, a season after going 10-6 and narrowly missing the playoffs. Bowles could be gone if they continue to spiral downward.MIKE MCCOY: The Chargers tumbled to 4-12 last year after going to the playoffs in each of McCoys first two seasons. Now theyre 4-5 and another losing season could cost McCoy his job.---AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP-NFL---Follow Rob Maaddi on Twitter: https://twitter.com/AP-RobMaaddiWholesale Vans Shoes . Darnolds lofted pass over linebacker D.J. Beavers and into the arms of tight end Daniel Imatorbhebhe for an 8-yard touchdown strike in the opening moments of the fourth quarter gave USC an 11-point lead that Washington (9-1, 6-1 Pac-12, No. 4 CFP) couldnt overcome. To play that game, at this age, in that atmosphere? Unbelievable, USC coach Clay Helton said.Ronald Jones II added 93 yards rushing and a touchdown. USC (7-3, 6-2, No. 20 CFP) won its sixth straight and should get back into the AP Top 25 while keeping alive its hopes of winning the Pac-12 South.Washington coach Chris Petersen cautioned all week that USC was back to looking like the most talented team in the Pac-12 and he was proved correct. Darnold flustered Washingtons defense by keeping plays alive with his feet and found gaps in the Huskies secondary that have been difficult for others to find.If guys are looking down the horizon, youre going to get hit right between the eyes, Petersen said. Theres too many good players and coaches in this league. ... I think we played a good team tonight.Darreus Rogers had six catches for 84 yards and a touchdown, while Imatorbhebhe added five catches for 78 yards. Washington lost starting middle linebacker Azeem Victor in the second quarter to a lower right leg injury that required an air cast and a cart to take the Huskies leading tackler off the field. His absence was felt in the pass game where USC exploited the middle of the field. When you have great players in front of you ... its your job to get them the ball and find the open guy. I thought I did that pretty well tonight, Darnold said.Washington quarterback Jake Browning was 17 of 36 for 259 yards, including a 70-yard TD pass to John Ross where he shook Jackson at the line of scrimmage. Ross finished with eight catches for 154 yards, but the Huskies were held to 17 yards rushing after coming into the week as the Pac-12 leader averaging 231 yards per game.Herres where we find out if were the front-runners that are only playing well when things are going well or are we going to respond and bounce back stronger? Browning said.dddddddddddd That will be interesting to see what kind of team are we.When USC went ahead 10-3 on Rogers 13-yard TD catch it was the first time Washington trailed at home since the first quarter of last Novembers Apple Cup against Washington State. The 17-6 halftime lead for the Trojans marked Washingtons first halftime deficit in more than a calendar year. The Huskies last trailed at the break on Nov. 7, 2015, against Utah, a game they lost 34-23.It was the drive just before halftime that put USC in control. Taking over at the 18 with 2:27 left in the half, Darnold completed 4 of 7 passes for 75 yards and capped the drive with Jones 4-yard TD run and an 11-point lead at the break.USC also got a huge play from Jack Jones in the third quarter blocking Cameron Van Winkles 38-yard field goal attempt after Darnold was intercepted for a second time by Washingtons Taylor Rapp.POLL IMPLICATIONSWelcome back to the AP Top 25 , USC. The Trojans were the first team outside the Top 25 last week but certainly will make a significant leap after the impressive win. With rest of the chaos this week, perhaps USC will crack the top 20.The chaos in the top 10 may help Washington also. The Huskies may not be penalized as much because of other top 10 teams losing.THE TAKEAWAYUSC: Jackson didnt have the best night, especially when he was matched up in coverage on Ross. But he came up with two key interceptions, both times using his quickness to break in front of the receivers and grab Brownings pass.Washington: The big plays that have been part of Washingtons success all season were absent. Washington had just three plays of longer than 20 yards: Two by Ross and a 28-yard pass to Chico McClatcher.INJURY REPORTPetersen did not have much of an update after the game on Victors injury. Its another blow to Washingtons defense that is likely to be without defensive end and sack leader Joe Mathis for the rest of the season due to foot surgery.UP NEXTUSC: The Trojans travel across town next Saturday to face rival UCLA at the Rose Bowl.Washington: The Huskies close out their home schedule hosting Arizona State.---More AP college football: www.collegefootball.ap.org and http://www.twitter.com/AP-Top25 ' ' '
